Trail Conditions:

Sorry for the delay in the update, but we were waiting to see what this weeks weather will bring! Most of our trail system is now closed and we have taken down our signs on ITS 86 West from town. ITS86 East from Town has also had its signs removed from town to White house Landing including the Grant Brook Road. The Logan Pond Trail and the Stratton Trail as well as the trail to the new multi use bridge, Wiley Crossing are also closed at this point! Riding in the Higher elevations of the Jo Mary country as well as portions of ITS 86 past White House to Kakadjo are still in great shape and worth a trip although staging sites and parking can be tricky.

Riding to Chesuncook Lake House is also still an option, but lake travel may be required from some starting points. We are offering rentals and riding from Twin Pines on a guided only basis. Guided rides at this time of the year can be once in a lifetime riding experiences, accessing lakes and sites you can't reach at any other time of the year. This will probably go on for the next two weeks and weekends and then my guess is we will see a very early "ice out" here in the North Country. Please remember ice is less stable then normal in many areas this year so if you don't know, don't go! Thanks for your patience in this crazy winter!
